After Moonlight

Written in 2020 in celebration of 250 years since Beethoven's birth, This concert piece
takes inspiration in the motives and melodies of Beethoven's moonlight sonata.

The work forms one large cadence, working up from a dark Bb minor, ascending and transfiguring 
to resolution in Ab Major.

Though serene and still, the constant ticking of the quaver moto-rhythm builds to large climax
in sturm und drang befitting Beethoven.
